New Display Wall with Function

We have only one wall in our kitchen to hang things on.
It is also the entrance area to the garage.

So we keep our keys there along with kids homework and random items we need to be quick at hand.

I wanted it to look nice but still hold all our "stuff".

An old window with chicken wire is a perfect solution.
I used framing wire to attach the "keys" hook and there was plenty of room for random 'S' hooks for all our sets of keys and a couple of picture frames.

I moved the clip board lower on the wall so the boys can reach it a little easier. I am showing pictures of them here today but this is a perfect spot to keep track of homework. Each boy has his own clip for school work and class notices.

I had to work around the light switches...

I know it's a little busy but I only have one wall.

The old windows are put to good use here and I like the look.

Looks great Holly! I have very little wall space in my kitchen too and I use just about every square inch of what I do have. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Gail

Holly, This turned out so cute and so functional. I love the huge star.. I've got one just like it. It is not busy at all it looks like real people live there and use the space. Love the potted plants, greenery of any kind is great indoors. Love the idea of the "s" hooks too. Darling.
