My Front Porch in August

(I found my camera after the move....finally!)
I was really excited to have a big (to me) front porch in our new house.
I sit out here all the time....

I purchased the rocking chairs at Lowes for $99 each.
The lanterns are from Target and hung from chain and twine.
Natural twig wreath from Joann's - 12.99.
Burlap garland from Joann's for 8.99 a roll.
Remember my basement door from my other house?
She came with me...
I took off her sheer curtain and gave her an iron accent.

I used my Cricut to print out our house number on sticky vinyl.
Moving a family of four was not the funnest thing I have ever done but I sure love my new porch.

It is a lovely front porch. Love the shutters and the space you have. The details like lanterns, buckets and plants are also very pretty.

You have inspired me. Just put up an antique screen door and have to repaint all to match. I love your colors. Also like the old door with the iron works. enJOYed your post very much.

Your porch looks so pretty all spruced up for Fall. I like how you hung lanterns from the ceiling between the columns. Cute! I have a front porch too, and you can't imagine ever not having one once you've had one. I'm sure it will get lots of use! You're going to have alot of fun with it this Christmas too I bet.

Fantastic front porch! I love everything about it. Gimme a book and a coffee and it'd be very hard to get me back inside the house!

I absolutely love the stencil on the front door, we've been trying to figure out what to do with ours lately as i hate the stick up stuff from the big box stores.

I love your front door. I have a cameo and was wondering what font you used on the front door so I could replicate it for my mom (a HUGE fan of your blog)... :) Thank you!
