Project Challenge - Rust

Welcome to Project Challenge where several bloggers and I use a pre-chosen material and show how we use them in different ways.

This month our challenge was to use something with rust.
My choice was to use this old rusty grate that I found at a flea market.
I thought of using it as a message board but while decorating the family room I decided that this wall needed something to contrast with all the light, creamy colors.
To me it adds depth but doesn't make a big statement.
Somehow, attaching a little twiggy wreath makes just about anything cute.

Did you see what the other bloggers did with rust?

How clever! I love anything thats rusty! And attatche a wreath to it, well, then its a sure thing! Every time I see a wreath in a shop I think: "wow! that would look great on that and that! I am sure this would look great with a big wreath". Works everytime:)

Your rusty grate looks like it was made for that space and is a great backdrop to whatever you place on it. Your space is perfectly arranged and decorated!

I love anything rusty and have a similar piece, only a little taller standing in my entry right now. I brought it in for Fall and now am using it in a Halloween display. Love yours hanging on the wall! I hopped over from Lil Braggs. What a fun challenge! I have a link party, Share Your Cup Thursday. It's about sharing the things that make you happy. I'd love if you shared some time!
